These are the canons which were used to protect St. John's Harbour. They are located on Signal Hill, St. John's, Newfoundland. 

This is a statue of the founder of Jack Daniels' whiskey. i visited the distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee. I was out for a drive and saw the sign, so I said "What the hell." and took a tour of the place -really interesting place.
